• Care: Little pruning necessary, but if need to prune, best practice is pruning back flowering stems to next set of buds. Be careful not to cut off next season's blooms. Overall pruning should be done early Spring when you can see a healthy set up buds. Prune out weak or damaged stems. A thick layer of mulch around the base of the plant helps to maintain a moist surround. This plant should be in a sheltered location if planted in colder climates.
