Ka Pow® Pink
Ka-Pow® Pink Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Ka-Pow® Pink') is a vibrant flowering perennial prized for its brilliant pink flowers, compact growth habit, and impressive summer blooming season. Its abundant flower clusters create a colorful display above attractive green foliage, making it an excellent addition to perennial borders, mixed landscape beds, and pollinator gardens.
Blooming from early to midsummer and continuing into early fall with proper care, Ka-Pow® Pink produces dense clusters of bright pink flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and other beneficial pollinators. Its sturdy, upright stems help maintain a tidy appearance, while its compact growth habit makes it particularly useful for smaller landscapes and mass plantings.

Care & Maintenance Tips
Planting:
Plant in full sun to part sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Ka-Pow® Pink performs best with good air circulation and consistent soil moisture. Avoid overcrowding plants, as proper spacing helps reduce the risk of powdery mildew.
Watering:
Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, maintain moderate soil moisture, particularly during periods of summer heat and active flowering. Water at the base of the plant when possible to keep foliage dry.
Fertilizing:
Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth begins. Adding compost or other organic matter can help improve soil fertility and moisture retention.
Pruning:
Remove spent flower clusters throughout summer to encourage additional blooming and maintain a tidy appearance. After frost, cut stems back near ground level or leave them standing until early spring before removing old growth.
Disease Prevention:
Ka-Pow® Pink is bred for improved garden performance, but like other garden phlox, it can still develop powdery mildew in humid conditions. Provide adequate spacing, good air circulation, and avoid prolonged overhead watering to help maintain healthy foliage.
